Divine Liturgy in the Ukrainian Catholic Church employs no musical instruments. Only choral and vocal responses are used. Some of these are done by the choir whilst others are conducted by the parishioners. Divine Liturgy or Holy Liturgy as it is often called is a dialogue between the celebrant and God and the congregation and God with prayers from both sides joining together to the glory of God.
At Lidcombe the Divine Liturgies are celebrated in the Ukrainian language although, there has been been murmuring from people who would like to see the parish offer an additional Divine Liturgy in English.
