Glen Eira Environment Group Inc. (GEEG)

                                                             GEEG was formed in 1989, our group is an incorporated group with a non- hierarchical committee structure. Our meetings are friendly and open to all who wish to attend. GEEG works on issues that we find important, both locally & globally. Although many of these issues are beyond our control as individuals, we have found that coming together as a supportive group gives us the strength to act and to have a positive input into many difficult & confrontative environmental issues that shape our present & will decide our future.

On the local level Glen Eira Environment Group has worked with local Council to improve our environment though practical activities such as locating and conserving remnant vegetation and revegetation projects using indigenous plants within the City of Glen Eira. Our group depends on resident support to successfully engage government bodies in meaningful and successful environmental change.
