** Updated to I-PAC4 in 2004

For
interfacing the controls with the computer I had a number of options. I
could have chosen to hack apart a keyboard or game pad and solder the wires of my
buttons to it. But this option seemed too much of a hassle and there would
be 'ghosting' problems.
I decided to go with a keyboard encoder.
There are several keyboard encoders out there. The
I-PAC. seemed to have the easiest
to hook-up and it was also the cheapest.
It simply connects to your Keyboard port of your mother
board. You then simply (very simply) connect the arcade controls to the
I-PAC.
